WRHA Pledges support for Rural Housing Plan
Warwickshire Rural Housing Association has joined housing associations across the country in pledging its support for the National Housing Federation’s Rural Housing Five Star Plan.
The plan, which the Housing Association has helped to shape, aims to increase the delivery of affordable rural homes. Whilst it will be officially launched in Rural Housing Week in July, the NHF is looking to generate as much support as possible during the run-up.
Company Secretary, Craig Felts, said: “We’re proud to have put our name to the Rural Housing Five Star Plan which is making sure that rural communities receive investment in, and commitment to, affordable homes.”
The plan complements the ‘Affordable homes for local people’ Rural Alliance Pledge which WRHA has also signed up to. This pledge states the commitment of housing associations to working with local people to ensure the delivery of high quality homes which benefit the whole community.
